Bone Up Brewing is a small batch brewery and taproom located just north of Boston. Our founders, Liz and Jared Kiraly, met over a shared love of good beer and have been brewing together ever since. Jared, our head brewer, has been brewing for over 15 years and brings an eye for detail to the quality assurance lab. Liz, our head of marketing, started out as a graphic designer and brings a decade of experience in brand building and a proclivity for creating eye-catching artwork to Bone Up. Inspired by the Belgian farmhouse brewing tradition, we craft modern interpretations of classic styles based on availability of local and seasonal ingredients.
We create beers that are balanced and approachable at face value, but will reward the drinker with subtle complexity upon closer inspection. Four year round beers are always available, but the small nature of our operation allows us to focus on custom, one-off batches that have a backstory: be it a recipe designed to pair with the music of a local band, a pair of beers brewed for a wedding to represent the happy couple, or a brew made to honor the memory of a beloved past pet, our draft list is a representation of our lives and the people in our community.
