With over ten years of experience in the beauty industry, I am confident in my ability to create the perfect custom cut and colour suited to your skin tone, lifestyle, and general needs. Sit back in a luxury salon chair, enjoy a coffee or tea & snack while listening to some good tunes or watching your favourite Netflix series, and let me do the rest. As a colour specialist, Bellami Hair Extension Certified Technician & all-around hair wizard, I will go above and beyond to make all your hair dreams come true!

 

I think the most rewarding part of my job is the idea that I am able to help folks’ outer self reflect the way they feel on the inside. Seeing the confidence and happiness I can help spark in people brings me so much joy and satisfaction. I love hearing the classic line: “I can’t believe that’s my hair!” when your hair transformation is completed. The connection I form with my guests behind the chair is so special, and I am so blessed to have formed long lasting friendships with so many wonderful people. Maintaining the health of your hair and offering professional advice & education for at-home care while making your hair dreams come true is an integral part of my services.

 

As a queer enby myself, making sure my space is welcoming, comfortable, and safe for marginalized folks is a top priority at Black Rose. There is always more to learn and I am constantly educating myself and looking for new ways to curate the studio to accommodate everyone’s needs and ensure they feel safe. I also make a point of making sure I (and any possible future employees) am educated in working with all textures of hair, so that I can confidently offer cut, colour, and styling to all folks while also being culturally aware and not causing any harm.
