Product Description

Mr. P.P.’s Deli and Rooftop is a locally owned small business in Southport.  We offer a sophisticated and stylish multi level venue with a unique and delicious Italian inspired antipasto, canapé, pizza and pasta menu that is all made to order in house.

With two impressively stocked bars over two levels, offering quality local craft beers on tap, superior wines and creative cocktails and serving up sensational views of the CBD skyline and stunning hinterland sunsets, Mr. P.P.’s Deli and Rooftop is the perfect place to celebrate with friends, enjoy a quiet meal, stop by for a quick lunch or even hold a cocktail party or function.

Mr. P.P.’s. is located on the original historic site which once housed the Postmaster General and family for over 100 years.   To celebrate the rich history of Southport we are named after the first ever Post and Telegraph manager, Mr P.P. Agnew who lived on the very site that our restaurant is located.  Situated directly beside the Southport Tram Station, in Nerang Street, Southport, we also offer convenient and easy access to and from the venue for you and your guests.

As a tribute to Mr. P.P. and his family, many of our menu items are named after the Agnew family, and you will find memorabilia, quotes and sketches from Mr. P.P.’s travel diaries and journals located throughout our venue that have been generously shared with us by his surviving relatives.   He truly was a unique character and we are honoured to tell his story and continue the legend of P.P. Agnew.

To reassure you:  Transgender and non-binary people are always welcome at Mr. P.P.’s, and all of our staff have been trained to respect your pronouns and identity, regardless of where you’re at in your transition. Every body is welcome at Mr. P.P.’s and we hope to see you soon.
