Custom Tattoo Design

We’d like to welcome you to Release the Kraken Tattoo, we offer a bespoke tattoo design service and pride ourselves on being friendly, welcoming and hope to put nervous clients at ease.

We have two female artists in house and between us can turn our hand to most styles. Katja, the owner and head-artist has twenty years experience and loves to do geometric blackwork, watercolour and anything geeky/ horror related.

Nina specialises in fineline blackwork, particularly small delicate continuous line drawings and florals.

We also offer body piercing and laser tattoo removal, in house.

How we’re supporting our transgender and non-binary clients

We are a fully inclusive, LGBTQIA studio. All our staff are trained to respect your pronouns, regardless of where you are in your transition.

All our workstations are in separate rooms, so you’ll get exclusive one-on-one time with your artist and complete privacy.

We aim to make your experience with us as comfortable and as stress-free as possible.
