Shear Wigs offers a 2 hour free consultation in our private wig room with one of our accredited wig specialists – Helen and Lauren – booking is essential. To book an appointment, call the salon on 01785 819444 and ask to speak to Helen or Lauren. Alternatively, message us on any of our social media.

We have a range of wigs, hairpieces and accessories in stock which are available to try on. We also have a range of catalogues which we can also have a look through and order from. Plus, we have an array of colour swatches so we can match up to your desired colour.

If, on the day, there is a suitable wig then you are welcome to leave with it that same day. If we would need to order one in, they usually arrive within a few days. However, sometimes items are placed on backorder and this is usually a matter of weeks. If this is the case, we will let you know and we can always match up another wig if the needs call for it. When ordering in a wig, a £50 non-refundable deposit will need to be taken, this will be deducted from the final bill.

We offer synthetic, high heat and human hair wigs and the cap types range from machine wefted, lace part/front, monofilament, hand-tied .etc.

The wigs are all adjustable and many are also offered in different cap sizes so be assured that we will find the right one for you.

Aftercare advice is always given during the appointment, as well as a sheet detailing at home care for the wig.

Helen is able to cut the wigs to suit your own personal needs.

Shear Wigs has an alternative entrance/exit – Head down the drive next to the salon, enter through the back door and down the stairs is the wig room. You are welcome to use this as a waiting room until your appointment time.
