The Garage, located in Norwich UK, is a hub for performing arts, a creative playground – from first steps to professionals. We work with local and national partners to provide high-quality performing arts programming, participation, education, and training for all. It is a place for everyone, aiming to turn dreams into reality for all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

The Charity has a strong emphasis on engaging those who face challenging circumstances and use the arts as an intervention. Alongside our charity and intervention work, we run weekly regular performing arts classes, qualifications from GCSEs, HNC, and MA in Performing Arts and programming live performances for audiences in our theatre.

We’re always here to help and support our transgender and non-binary customers, regardless of where you are in your transition.

• Transgender and non-binary people are always welcome at The Garage, and all of our staff will respect your pronouns and identity, regardless of where you’re at in your transition.
• It is our policy that all customers can use the changing rooms and their preferred toilet, regardless of their gender presentation.
• We understand that if you are uncomfortable using multi-cubicle toilets, we have a toilet on each floor with an independent locking door for all-gender use.
• If you ever have any concerns or suggestions on how we could improve, we are more than happy to discuss these.
