Wonderland Awaits is Doncaster’s original vintage inspired alternative boutique, encouraging Individuality and celebrating Diversity since 2014.

Wonderland Awaits is run by me, Zara (Hi!) and stocks a huge range of the best vintage reproduction clothing brands with styles inspired by the 1920s through to the 1960’s. Wanting something a bit darker? We have You covered as we also stock looks from Gothic and Steampunk through to Emo, Punk and Pastel Goth.

Inclusivity is our goal, and we stock clothing for all genders in sizes Extra Small to 6 Extra Large, and shoes from size 3 to size 10. I hope to further expand this range as I find more brands that match Our ethos.

In store we aim to make everyone feel welcome, at ease and part of the Wonderland Awaits Family. Whether it be our fully ramped entrance, gender neutral dressing rooms or our “safe space” seating area, every part of the shop has been designed to offer a safe, happy and fun shopping experience.

We are happy to offer honest advice should You want it. We know that pushy sales people are the worst, and that’s not what we are about. We let people browse and try on things at their leisure, knowing we are on hand if they need us.

Having studied fashion design and pattern cutting as part of my BA (Hons) degree, I will gladly use my knowledge to help you find the best styles, cut and shapes to suit your body shape. Whether You  are just starting Your journey, are simply wanting to update Your look, or You are already living Your absolute best life and just want to look extra badass, give us a shout and we can help.

I am already so grateful to have an amazing array of loyal customers from the LGBTQ+ community as well as performers from the local Drag king, Drag Queen and Burlesque Scene, and most of all, many I can now happily call friends.
